What To Expect
Our church is a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Each service features live, in-person worship and preaching. We also offer fun, Bible-centered activities for children from birth through elementary age. If you have any questions ahead of time, please don’t hesitate to connect with us!

New Hope Grimes is a Christ-centered, multicultural, relational church and a campus of New Hope Assembly in Urbandale. We were founded with a vision to bring a life-giving church right here to Grimes. We believe God is doing something special in our city, and we’d love to meet you!
Family-Centered
We’re a multigenerational church that believes strongly in the next generation.
That’s why we offer fun, age-appropriate opportunities for children and students from birth through 12th grade to find community and grow their faith.
Kids
We love seeing kids discover Jesus and grow in faith!
Birth through 5th-grade services are available during both the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services. Kids can also join midweek gatherings at our Urbandale campus from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., where they can learn, play, and build lasting friendships. All of our volunteers are carefully vetted and trustworthy, so you can relax knowing your children are in safe, loving hands.
YTH
Youth are not just the church of the future — they are the church of today!
In addition to our Sunday morning services, we have youth services for students in grades 6-12 on Sunday nights beginning October 19th. They meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 7351 NW 100th St. in Johnston, Iowa.
Youth nights include social time, games, small groups, worship, a relevant youth message, and altar time.

Our Upcoming Campus
We’re excited to be building a permanent home in the city of Grimes.
We have purchased land for a new building directly across the street from Dallas-Center Grimes High School. While we are meeting temporarily in the high school, we are highly anticipating the construction of this new space!
